Leading from the Sandbox: Considerations for Leading at the PreK-3 Level

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Leading at the early learning level take more than just smiles, hugs and words of encouragement these days.  Leaders of this work need to have a clear understanding of not just the social emotional needs of learners-but understand best practices that support teachers in reaching all students and their families.  This session will give an introduction to how leading at this level NEEDS to look different than in the 3rd -12th grade school years.  Participants will have an opportunity to share their own experiences and success as well as learn from other leaders in the field to gather resources that will develop or enhance their own understanding of critical concepts of successful early learning programs and how they can be embedded in their own schools.  Be ready to laugh, dance, play and have fun all in the name of becoming a strong PreK-3 leader in this session.
